The line...

Where is it? What is the thing you would never do in an ad?

Our new campaign for Slim-Fast is slightly controversial, but the Nandos one is touching upon some historical elements that may just be pushing it a little too far...

What is your boundary that you wouldn't cross?

P.s I mean portfolios here, not real world ads

no boundaries. at all. the best advice i ever got for my portfolio was: you book is magicland, do whatever you please. it has to be the best work you can ever do, as no one can interfer, no brief, no client, no cd. it's all up to you.

yeah, that's true, no one to shoot your idea down on a technicality (or because it's not 100% on brief). as long as it's not offensive to the point where the ad doesnt work go for it, best bet is to find a d&ad student annual if you can, take a look at the age concern piece from a year or two ago, its fuckin brilliant but would never have run.

the general public is never gonna see you ad's, cd's will. if you can make one of them laugh during a crit because of an extreme ad, you've done well.
